How do I rename a policy on the WeGuard console?

Renaming a policy in the Weguard console helps administrators organize and manage policies more efficiently. By updating the policy name to something clearer and more descriptive, admins can easily identify the purpose of the policy, such as device restrictions, security settings, or application management. This procedure improves policy management, reduces confusion when multiple policies exist, and helps teams quickly locate and apply the correct policy to devices or user groups within the console.

Renaming the policy

  • Log in to the WeGuard Console.
  • Click on Policies and select the policy.


  • Click the Edit button, in the top-right corner, rename the policy, and then click the check mark to update the policy name
