How to Clone a Policy?

Hello and Welcome to WeGuard Enterprise Visual Knowledge-base Series.
In this KB article, We will explain how to clone a policy on WeGuard Enterprise Portal.

Cloning a new Policy in other ways is called Duplicate Policy in WeGuard. After signup, a default policy gets created with name “Default”, you can clone/duplicate the default policy.
  1. Go to ‘Policy Groups’ on the left pane and search a particular policy which you want to clone in the search bar which is located at the top of the screen.
  1. For this example I want to clone ‘Default Android Policy’ so I will search for the same name as shown below.
Note: You may type the partial name of your policy as well and all the related policies will populate on the screen(as shown in below pic).
  1. Once you see your policy name you may proceed to the next step which is by clicking + symbol as shown in pic below.
  2. Path: Policy Groups > +

  1. Select the default policy you want to clone and press OK.
  1. A dialogue prompt will appear to enter the New group name and Description
    1. New Group name is a * Mandatory field.
    2. Description can be your choice.
  2. Once done with entering the details, Please press CLONE.

  1. Now, you will see a message that Policy Cloned Successfully and the created policy will appear in the policy group sections.

Note: Any policy, including the default policy, can be cloned/duplicated in the same way.
