Live Support - How do I install WeSupport application on devices?

Hello and Welcome to WeGuard Enterprise Visual Knowledge-base Series.
In this KB article, We will explain the procedure to install WeSupport application on the devices.

Pre-requisites :

  • Android version on the device should be 7.0 or higher.

  • WeGuard application version should be 4.16.0 or higher.

  • Portal version should be 4.0.59 or higher.

  • Login to WeGuard®console with valid credentials.

  • From the left menu, click on "Policy Groups".



  • Notice list of the policy groups available. 

  • For the first time only default policies would be shown/available.



Reference : Learn how to create new policies.

  • Click on the policy name to enable WeSupport application.

  • In policy Details view > App Management > Pro > Notice WeSupport app > click on toggle button to enable the app. 

  • Click on "SAVE AND CONTINUE".



  • Once the device gets the latest policy, the WeSupport application will be downloaded and installed automatically.

  • Make sure the device is connected to a stable network.

  • Notice the "WeSupport" application on the device along with other whitelisted apps.

  • Initiating connection from "Live Support" will allow admin to take full control of the device remotely.
