Live Support - How to take complete control of a device remotely?

Hello and Welcome to WeGuard Enterprise Visual Knowledge-base Series.
In this KB article, We will explain how to take complete control of a device remotely on WeGuard Enterprise Portal.

This article explains the procedure to take complete control of a device remotely from admin console.

  • Login to WeGuard console.

  • Go to the Devices page.

  • Click on the Device ID to take complete control.



  • Make sure the device is online and connected to a stable network.

  • Navigate to the "Live Support" tab and click on "Connect to Device".



  • On the device, a request would be shown for user consent.



  • For the first time users will have to enable accessibility services for WeGuard.

  • Once the device user accepts the request, the device will start casting the view to the console.



  • During an active session, bi-directional voice calls will be established so that admin/ops & users can talk to each other.

  • On the console, admin/ops can click anywhere on the device panel to impersonate the action on the device.
