Adjusting Screen Brightness in Kiosk Mode on Android Devices

On Android devices provisioned under Kiosk Mode, users often need to adjust basic settings like screen brightness. However, these settings are typically inaccessible via the status bar in Kiosk Mode.

With WeGuard, brightness adjustments can be made easily through the Quick Settings panel on the home screen.


Steps to Adjust Brightness in Kiosk Mode via WeGuard

  • Tap the Quick Settings icon located at the bottom center of the screen.

  • Tap the Sun icon to manually adjust the screen brightness.
  • Drag the slider to your preferred brightness level and tap OK.
   

  • To enable automatic brightness adjustment, check the "AUTO" box and then tap OK.



NotesIf the required permission for Quick Settings is not enabled, a yellow warning icon will appear on the Quick Settings icon.
Tapping the warning icon will redirect you to the permissions page, where you can enable the "Allow Change of Settings" permission.
