Restrict Wallpaper Change (Android)

Administrators can prevent users from modifying the wallpaper on managed Android devices via the WeGuard Console. Enforcing this restriction ensures a consistent corporate identity, maintains a professional device appearance, and prevents unauthorized personalization.

Configuring Wallpaper Change

  • Click on Policies and select the Policy.



  • Click on the Advanced tab. Find Disable Wallpaper Change. Toggle it ON.



  • Then click Save and Review Changes and select Confirm and Save.

Set the wallpaper. First: We recommend setting a global wallpaper in the "Branding" tab before enabling this restriction to ensure all devices display the correct corporate branding.
