Android Device Removal and Unenrollment Guide
IT admins need to delete devices from the organization that are no longer in use or no longer supported. To streamline this process, WeGuard provides the option to remove the MDM with or without resetting the device.

Each step is outlined in a detailed procedure.
WeGuard ensures that the device unenrolling process is as smooth as the enrollment process.
Steps to be followed before initiating the Device Delete/Uninstall/Bulk Uninstall for Android Devices
Devices should be removed from the Zero Touch Portal
The device should be connected to a stable internet connection. If it is not connected to a network, the device will be factory reset once it is connected to the internet.
Any data on the device should be backed up to prevent data loss (Applied to Device Delete)
Procedure to Delete the Android Devices (By Resetting devices)

We can delete the device even if it is offline, the device will undergo a Factory Reset once it is connected to a stable internet connection.
The device will undergo the Factory Reset process and start as a fresh device.
Procedure to Uninstall the WeGuard from Android Devices (Without Resetting)
Uninstalling the WeGuard option will uninstall the WeGuard MDM application along with the apps pushed via WeGuard and restrictions without resetting the device.
Once the WeGuard is uninstalled, the device can be used as a normal one with all the data intact.

WeGuard application is now uninstalled along with the apps pushed via WeGuard and restrictions pushed.
Procedure to Bulk Uninstall the WeGuard from Android Devices

Bulk devices Uninstall the WeGuard command is executed, End users will be able to uninstall the WeGuard application. All the restrictions and applications pushed through WeGuard will also be removed.
