  • Click on the ‘IOS Certificate Details’ and select the ‘DEP’ tab as shown in the images.

  • Let’s commence the setup process by clicking on the ‘here’ link as in step 1 mentioned in the DEP setup process on WeGuard console. This will download a ‘.pem’ file.

  • Click on the ‘here’ link as in step 2 mentioned in the DEP setup process on the WeGuard console. This will redirect you to your Apple Business Manager portal.
  • Now login with your ABM apple id.
  • Once you’re logged in, Please click on Profile -> Preferences which should appear on the bottom left corner.

  • Now create a new MDM server by clicking on ‘+’.

  • Enter a suitable name and then click on ‘Choose file’ and then upload the public key (.pem) file which was downloaded previously and click Save.

  • The MDM server has been created.
  • Next click on ‘Download Token’ which downloads the MDM server token(.p7m file).

  • Let’s go back to the DEP setup page on the WeGuard console and upload the previously downloaded MDM server token(.p7m file) and click complete.

  • DEP setup has been completed and you will be seeing a page something like this below.

  • Upon clicking ‘Sync Devices’, the devices in the ABM account appear on the WeGuard console in an unprovisioned state.

Note: Devices on the ABM account must be assigned to the appropriate MDM server. To understand device assignment, you can click on this link.
