WeGuard empowers IT administrators with precise control over web traffic by facilitating URL whitelisting and blocking through managed device policies. Utilizing a two-tier configuration, administrators can implement a flexible, permissive model by populating a blocklist to restrict specific high-risk or non-work-related domains while keeping the rest of the internet accessible for knowledge workers. Alternatively, for dedicated-use devices like retail kiosks or logistics tablets, WeGuard enforces a strict "zero-trust" whitelist by deploying a universal wildcard block (["*"]) alongside an explicit list of allowed corporate URLs, effectively neutralizing threats like phishing and malware while ensuring endpoints remain secure and focused entirely on business operations.
