In this KB article, We will explain about security settings available on WeGuard Enterprise Portal.

Security settings, In this section, you have a wide variety of security setting options to set as per the admin preferences

Now let’s get started, here in this section. We will help you how to configure your Security settings requirements.

• ALLOW STATUS BAR EXPANSION - Allow the Status Bar to expand and show other details.

• BLOCK YOUTUBE - To block Youtube from settings.

• BLOCK BROWSER - To block Browser from settings.

• DISABLE BLUETOOTH CONTACT SHARING - Whether Bluetooth contact sharing is disabled.

• DISABLE FACTORY RESET - Whether factory resetting from settings is disabled.

• DISABLE SAFE BOOT - Whether rebooting the device into the safe boot is disabled.

• DISABLE UNINSTALLING OF APPS - Whether user uninstallation of applications is disabled.

• DISABLE STATUS BAR - Whether the status bar is disabled. This disables notifications, quick settings and other screen overlays that allow escape from full-screen mode.

• ALLOW POWER OFF - Allow power off from the device.

• KIOSK UNLOCK PASSWORD - Password to exit persona mode.

• DISABLE APP INSTALLATION FROM UNKNOWN SOURCES - Whether the user is allowed to enable the "Unknown Sources" setting, which allows installation of apps from unknown sources.

• DISALLOW USER FROM MANAGING ACCOUNT TYPES - Account types that cannot be managed by the user.

• DISABLE SCREEN CAPTURE - Disallow the Screenshot Capture on device.

• DISABLE APP INSTALLATION - Whether user installation of apps is disabled.

• DISABLE KEYGUARD - Whether the keyguard is disabled.

• DISABLE KEYGUARD FEATURE - Keyguard features which may be disabled.

• DEFAULT PERMISSION POLICY - Set the policy level permission of the applications to be installed.

• BLUETOOTH CONTACT SHARING DISABLED - Whether Bluetooth contact sharing is disabled.

• DISABLE MOBILE NETWORK CONFIG - Whether configuring mobile networks is disabled.

• SHARE LOCATION DISABLED - Whether location sharing is disabled.

• DISABLE FILE TRANSFER OVER USB - Whether transferring files over USB is disabled.

• APP VERIFICATION - Whether app verification is force-enabled.

• DISABLE PHYSICAL MEDIA MOUNTING - Whether the user mounting physical external media is disabled.

• DISABLE USER CREDENTIALS CONFIG - Whether configuring user credentials is disabled.
