Disable Uninstalling Apps

This feature helps enterprises prevent users from removing critical business apps from their managed devices.
It enhances security, supports compliance, reduces IT workload, and minimizes disruptions by preventing users from accidentally or intentionally removing essential applications.

Disable/Enable Uninstallation of Apps

  • Log in to the WeGuard console.

  • Click on Policies and select the policy you want to configure.




  • Navigate to the Security tab and find the Disable Uninstalling Apps option.




  • Then toggle it ON.




  • Then click Save, review the changes, and select Confirm and Save.



Notes
1. You can allow the user to uninstall the application at any time by simply turning OFF the restriction in the policy settings.
2. If the Disable App Installation toggle is enabled, the applications will not be removed from the device when the device is transferred from one policy to another.
