Rebooting a Windows Device

The Reboot Device feature in the WeGuard Console allows administrators to remotely restart a managed Windows device. This can be useful when a device requires a restart for troubleshooting, applying changes, or resolving temporary issues.

Rebooting a Windows Device

  • Log in to the WeGuard Console.

  • Navigate to Devices and select the required device to restart.



  • You will be redirected to the device details page. The landing page would be "Actions."



  • Find the "Reboot" option under Quick Actions and click on it.


Notes
The device will restart after the command is sent. Depending on the device's network connectivity and processing speed, the command may be executed immediately or may take a few moments to complete.
