Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) is a solution designed for fast and secure bulk enrollment of corporate Android devices. The best way to leverage KME is to purchase a fleet of tablets or smartphones from an authorized reseller. Once you assign an MDM profile to the fleet, all devices will be automatically configured at their first startup.
Access to the KME Admin Portal
Samsung devices must be added to the KME portal by authorized resellers (e.g., Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.)
Knox Mobile Enrollment must be enabled in the KME portal
Login to Knox Admin Portal and click on the Name tag on the top right corner
Select Settings
Go to Show and Hide Services
Sign in to the Knox Admin Portal using your credentials.
Navigate to Knox Mobile Enrollment.
Go to the Profiles section and click on Actions then select Create Profile.
Enter the required basic details and click Next.
Select WeGuard MDM (it will verify automatically), then click Next.
Enable Allow System Apps.
Select Show all Android enrollment screens, then click Next.
Review the details (Click on Edit (pencil Icon) to edit any field) and click Create to complete the profile setup.
Sign in to the Knox Admin Portal.
Navigate to Knox Device Enrollment.
Go to the Devices section, devices will show up if the Reseller has added the IMEIs to the Knox Admin Portal
For a single device, locate it by IMEI, click on it, and select the desired profile.
For multiple devices/all the devices, then click Actions > Configure Devices.
In the Configure Selected Devices window, assign a profile under Modify Profile of Selected Devices. Click Save to apply the profile to the selected devices.
Log in to the WeGuard Console.
Go to Policy Groups and select the desired Policy.
Navigate to the Devices section.
Adding a Single Device
Click on the “+” button in the Devices tab.
Enter the IMEI or Serial Number (Optional Admin Tag Name and Registered SIM Number)
Click Save to add the device.
Adding Multiple Devices (Bulk Enrollment)
Click on the Up Arrow beside the “+” button.
Download the Sample File from the pop-up window.
Open the sample file and enter the IMEI or Serial Numbers in the first column. (Optional) Fill in the Admin Tag, ID1, ID2, and Registered Sim Number fields if needed and save the file to a known location (e.g., Downloads).
Click Upload, locate the saved file, and click Open.
Review the uploaded IMEIs in the WeGuard window and click Save.
The devices will now be added to the Devices tab within the selected policy.
Ensure the devices are assigned with the WeGuard Profile in KME and IMEIs are added to the WeGuard Policy.
Open a new device out of the box, or factory reset an existing device.
Click Start to begin the setup.
If the device has eSIM, connect to Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot to set it up.
Once mobile data is connected, proceed with enrollment. The screen will display "This device belongs to the organization".
Accept all terms and conditions for the device and WeGuard.
Enable all required permissions.
The device will now be enrolled in WeGuard, completing the setup.
