Kiosk Mode - How to setup kiosk screen password?

In this KB article, We will explain how to enable kiosk screen password on the WeGuard Enterprise Console.
Sensitive data, work apps exposed to others for tampering? Worried about securing the data? WeGuard solves the problem with the "Kiosk Screen Password" policy.
With "Kiosk Screen Password" enabled, devices will be auto locked after configured time and to unlock, the user will have to enter the password. Let’s see how to enable it.
- Login to WeGuard Console with your credentials.
- From the left navigation menu, click on "Policy Groups".
- Notice the list of default policies along with the policies you have created (if) to meet business needs.
- Choose a desired policy to enable the feature. Make a note that this feature is available only for Kiosk policies.
- For this article, as an example we are using the "Default Android Kiosk" group which is Kiosk policy.
- Click on the policy group name to go into policy details.
- By default "General" restrictions are shown. Scroll down to "Security" and notice "Kiosk Screen Password".
- By default it is disabled. To setup password enable the option & click on "SAVE AND CONTINUE".
- Now on the device, users will be asked to set up a password or pin of their choice with a default lock time to 2min.
- After setting the password and lock time, to save the details click on "Ok"
- Post that if the device is idle for a set lock time, the device screen will be auto locked.
- To access the apps & data, users will have to enter the password or pin.
