Screen Time/App Usage for Android

WeGuard gives administrators the option to monitor and control device screen time to make sure users or employees aren't spending too much time on specific apps or websites, especially ones unrelated to their jobs.


How to view Screen Time

Screen time usage is classified into two types: app-level usage and device-level usage.

  1. App-Level Screen Usage—Tracks the time spent on specific applications.
  2. Device-Level Screen Usage—Monitors the total duration the device is actively used.

App-Level Usage

  • Log in to the WeGuard Console.

  • Click on the Screen Time tab, it will show the default view of all the apps usage time.

    Please get in touch with your administrator or WeGuard support team if you are unable to see the screen time tab.




  • Select the desired date range.




  • Choose a specific app from the list.




  • Once the specific app is selected, the screen time data will be populated.

  • To download the app-level screen time report, click the download icon.



Device-Level usage


  • Go to Device Level Usage Tab in Screen Time section. Select the desired date range.




  • Choose a specific app from the list.



  • Once the specific app is selected, the screen time data will be populated.

  • Click the download icon to get the device-level screen time report.




  • Click on the IMEI then, click on eye icon to view detailed reports of App level usage for the device





NotesScreen time reports can be generated for a maximum of 30 days.
