How to install apps from the Google PlayStore?
Hello and Welcome to WeGuard Enterprise Visual Knowledge-base Series.
In this KB article, We will explain how to install apps from the Google PlayStore on WeGuard Enterprise Portal.
Now let’s get started.
- Path: Policy Group > Select the Policy > Edit
- Path: > Policy > App Management
- Path: > Playstore Apps
- Click on the “+” at the bottom right of your screen.
- ‘Search in PlayStore’ will open up with Play Store App selection with a search bar.
- Available Apps will be shown if they are any existing apps in the policy.
- Play Store App selection tab would open up with a search bar.
- Search for the app you want to install (For example, let's install Google Maps).
- Click Select on the Google Maps app (Below screen will appear) and press OK.
- You can now select the installation type and update type from the available options in the dropdown list.
- Press Save and Continue. Again, press Save.
- You will see a message that "Policy update Successful" and the app will be successfully installed.
- Press Save and Continue, the installed app will be updated in the selected policy.
