Reports

Reports are essential for admins as they provide valuable insights into device usage, security compliance, and overall system performance. They help track trends, identify issues, and make data-driven decisions without manual monitoring. WeGuard allows admins to automate report delivery directly to their email. Admins can schedule them for immediate, daily, weekly, or monthly delivery at a specified time..

Scheduled reports save time by delivering critical information automatically, ensuring admins stay informed and can take
proactive actions to improve efficiency and security.


Key Features


Scheduled Reports History: Admins can view the history of scheduled reports along with details such as the Scheduled Time and the actual Generation Time. This helps in tracking the performance and timeliness of report generation.

Reports which can be scheduled:
  1.  Device OS Report, Device Enrollment Report, Device Type Report, Device Status Report, WeGuard Version Distribution Report, Custom Application Distribution Report, Play Application Distribution Report.
Scheduled Reports: Admins can view, edit, or delete the reports that are already scheduled for the account. This enables easy management and updates as needed



Advanced Reports: Customized Special reports provided by WeGuard.
  1.  Distance Travelled Report, Time Spent Report, Geo Fence Report, Screen Time Report, App Usage Report, Device Health Report, WeTrack Report:


Legacy View:
Admins can use legacy view to download the on-demand reports which are available in their account, it does not support scheduling option.

WeGuard Version Distribution Report

Contains the report of the WeGuard version for all available devices.

Device Enrollment Report

Shows a report with the device enrollment date and time.

Custom Application Distribution Report

Displays the version of private applications (APKs) installed on all devices.

Store Application Distribution Report

Displays Play Store app version information installed on all devices.

Device OS Report

Shows all available device OS versions enrolled in the account.

Device Type Report

Shows OEM information for all enrolled devices. 

Device Status Report

Provides information on when the device was last connected to the internet (Active/Inactive, Last connected date/time).

Distance Travelled Report

Shows the distance covered by the device.

Time Spent Report

Displays the time spent at a single location

Geo Fence Report

Shows Geo-Fence In/Out data information.

Windows Screen Time Report

Displays screen usage time for Windows devices (Windows-specific report).

Windows App Usage Report

Shows the time spent on specific applications (Windows-specific report).

Device Health Report

Provides details on RAM usage, battery usage, disk, and CPU for Windows devices (Windows-specific report).

WeTrack Report

Shows latitude, longitude, accuracy, and speed information for selected devices.

Android App Usage Report

Contains information on all apps and their usage time.


Notes
Reports can be viewed and downloaded instantly in Legacy View.
For scheduling the reports switch back to latest reports view.


Procedure to Schedule Reports


  • Log in to the WeGuard Console 

  • Navigate to the Reports section, landing page will have previously scheduled reports view.




  • Download any existing reports by clicking on the Download button under the Actions.




  • Click on the "+" button to create a new scheduled report.




  • Select the Report Type and Schedule Frequency (Immediate, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly).





  • Admins can set date and time for Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports schedule.



InfoReport Generation Time: Admin can select the time on which report has to be delivered to the added email.
Select days of Month: Admin can chose multiple days in a month on which report needs to be delivered.
Select Month of the Year: Admin can select the month in which they need reports.

  • Select the Email address where the report should be sent.

  • Click on the "+" button beside the Email field to add multiple recipients.




  • Click Submit to finalize the scheduled report.




  • The report will now be generated and sent to the added email based on the selected frequency and preferences set by the admin.


How to switch back to legacy view?


  • Click on the Switch to the Legacy Reports Interface/Switch to New Reports Interface to change the view to the older/newer preview where Admins can directly download the reports or schedule the reports as per their use case.
