How to Disable Manual Date & Time Settings?

WeGuard allows administrators to disable manual date and time settings on devices, ensuring that they maintain accurate, consistent, and secure time information. This is essential for the smooth functioning of enterprise environments, as well as for maintaining compliance and system integrity.

By preventing users from modifying date and time settings, this feature helps avoid issues caused by time misalignment in time-sensitive applications and processes. It also enhances audit reliability and safeguards against intentional or unintentional clock tampering, thereby strengthening overall device security.

Disabling Manual Date & Time Settings

  • Login to the WeGuard Console.

  • Click on Policies and select a policy from Policy Groups.





  • Navigate to the General tab and locate Disable Manual Date & Time Settings.




  • Toggle it ON, click Save, Review Changes, and then click Confirm and Save.







Info

Manual Date & Time setting is enabled and user will not be able to make changes.
