Customizing Layouts in WeGuard

WeGuard provides admins with the ability to design custom home screen layouts tailored to different user roles. This allows greater control over how apps are displayed on devices assigned to specific policy groups, ensuring role-based access, improved clarity, and optimised usability.

For example, admins can create a dedicated layout for managers or supervisors—where applications appear in a specific order, with customised font sizes, icon sizes, and navigation buttons designed to meet the needs of those roles.

How to Customize Layouts

  • Go to the Layout section and toggle it ON

  • Select Text Size, Icon Size, and Button Navigation as per the requirements.

  • Select Row Size and Cell Size.

  • On the Default layout page, select Apps and configure them as required.

  • Once the configuration is set, click on Copy to All Layouts and click on Save and Continue

NotesWhen a new app is added via App Management and you click Save & Continue, you’ll be redirected to the Layouts section.
  • Action Required: Be sure to place the app in both Portrait and Landscape layouts.
  • Then, click Copy to All LayoutsSave and Continue.
Info
Applications on the device will be aligned based on the layout configured for the assigned Policy Group.
