How Do I Install Play Store Apps in the Policy?

With WeGuard MDM, any software that is available in the Play Store may be easily installed on devices. WeGuard makes app distribution easier and better, so you can roll out Play Store apps to every device faster.

Adding the Play Store application from the WeGuard Enterprise Portal



  1. Login to the WeGuard Console.

  2. Choose the Policy by clicking on Policy Groups.



  • Navigate to App Management. Go to the Play Store tab, press the "+" button, and choose Play Store Search.




  • Search for the required application and select it. (For instance, search for Google Chrome and choose it, just like in the picture below.)



  • As soon as you click Select, the app is added to the left. Press the OK button.



  • Notice the app being added to the application list. Click Save and Continue.




If there is a consistent internet connection, the app will download and install itself on every device covered by the policy.
When you select Save and Proceed, if the "Layout" section is enabled, you will be taken to the Layout Page. Where the application must be added to the "Layout" as necessary. Click here for additional details on "Layouts."
