WeSupport Remote Screenshare for iOS

WeSupport helps administrators provide remote assistance to users by viewing their device screens and guiding them through troubleshooting steps. On iOS devices, connecting to WeSupport may require the user to grant the necessary permissions and follow the on-screen instructions.

Due to Apple limitations controlling the screen remotely is not allowed. The Admin can only view the screen but not control.

Initiating the WeSupport

  • Log in to the WeGuard Console.

  • Navigate to Devices and select the required iOS device.

  • Under WeSupport, locate the Connect to Device option on the device image. Click Connect to Device to initiate the WeSupport session.

  • A notification will appear on the iOS device stating that "Your administrator is requesting a live Support session."

  • Tap the notification to proceed with the connection.

  • A red dot will appear on the device screen. Tap the red dot to open the screen-broadcasting prompt.

  • Click on Start Broadcast to begin sharing the device screen.

  • Once the broadcast starts successfully, the device screen will be visible to the administrator in the WeGuard Console.
