Enable/ Disable Home and Recent Apps Buttons
You can control access to the Home and Recent Apps buttons on Android devices using WeGuard MDM. Disabling these buttons helps restrict users from navigating away from allowed apps, ensuring better device control and security.
- Log in to the WeGuard Console.
- Navigate to Policies and select the required Policy.
- Toggle ON to enable the Home Button and Recent Apps Button, or toggle OFF to
Disable them as needed. You can also choose to enable or disable each option.
(Home Button or Recent Apps Button) individually.
The Home button and the Recent button are interlinked. If you would like to enable the Recent button, the Home button must also be enabled, as both functions work together.Once the policy is synced to the device, both the Home Button and Recent Apps Button will be disabled or enabled.
