Data Usage-How to configure & track WiFi data usage?

Hello and Welcome to WeGuard Enterprise Visual Knowledge-base Series.
In this KB article, We will explain the procedure to configure & track WiFi data usage.

  • Login to WeGuard Console with valid credentials.
  • Click on "Policy Groups" on the left menu.


  • Notice list of policies. For the first time you will see default policies.
  • Click on any policy as per business need.
  • In the policy details, notice the "Data Usage" tab.


  • Click on it and notice that by default data usage settings are off.
  • To configure and track WiFi data, Toggle ON "Wi-Fi" option.
  • Set a monthly data limit either in MB or GB. Make a note that the default is 500MB.
  • As per business need enable Critical, Low & Warning alerts to notify mobile users & admin.


  • To impose the policy on the devices click on the "SAVE AND CONTINUE" button.
  • As per the configuration and alert would be raised and notifies admin or user (based on selection).
