Web application (Web app) is an application that is hosted on a remote server and delivered over the internet through a browser interface preferably Google Chrome.
Login to WeGuard Console with valid credentials.
Notice Dashboard as the landing page.
Click on Policy Groups from the left menu.
From the list of policies select the desired policy and click on the policy name.
Go to the App Management category.
Click on the Playstore tab and then click on the "+" symbol as shown in the image.
There would be two options prompted on the console click on "Search In Play Storeā.
As per the image below click on the globe icon that says "Web apps".
Click on the "+" icon.
Enter the name of the web app and also the URL in the respective columns and also select the display type (In the below image we have given the title as Google News and the URL is https://news.google.com and selected display type is standalone)
There is also an option that helps us upload an Icon for the Web app just click on the Upload icon tab as shown in the image and select the icon from your PC.
Click on Create and the changes would be applied then click on OK and now the web app is been added to the list.
Once the Web app is added and is available click on the Web app icon.
Click on Select and the Click on OK.
The web app created will be added to the policy just click on SAVE AND CONTINUE and this will save the changes and the web app would be reflected in all the devices enrolled in the policy.
