Go to the App Management category.
Click on Playstore tab.
Notice a drop-down option called “Update Types”.
Here are the options in detail,
Enable Auto Updates : Apps added from playstore will be auto-upgraded to the latest version as and when new versions are available. However, there are some constraints published by Google for auto upgradation. Reference : https://support.google.com/work/android/answer/9350374?hl=en
User Choice : This option allows users to upgrade from the play store app on the device.
Disable Auto updates : App will not auto-upgrade.
WiFi Only : Apps will auto upgrade only if the device is connected to WiFi.
Choose the option that suits best to business requirements and click "SAVE AND CONTINUE" to include in the policy.
Once the associated devices get updated policy, based on the option selected, play apps will be controlled & managed.
