App Management - How do you make sure device users do not install applications by themselves?

Hello and Welcome to WeGuard Enterprise Visual Knowledge-base Series.
In this KB article, We will help you understand how to make sure users do not install applications by themselves.
  • Login to WeGuard Console with valid credentials.

  • Click on ‘Policy Groups’ as shown in the below image.



  • Select the desired policy group as shown in the below image.



  • From the left menu, click on ‘Security'.




  • Make sure that the ‘Disable App Installation’ is ON.


  • In order to update the changes made to the policy, click on ‘Save and Continue’.


  • Once SAVE AND CONTINUE is clicked, confirm the changes by clicking on ‘SAVE’.


  • Notice the policy version incrementing by 1.

  • Once the device gets the latest policy, policy reflects on the device and since then users should not be able to install apps by themselves.
