App Management - How do you make sure device users do not install applications by themselves?
Hello and Welcome to WeGuard Enterprise Visual Knowledge-base Series.
In this KB article, We will help you understand how to make sure users do not install applications by themselves.
Login to WeGuard Console with valid credentials.
Click on ‘Policy Groups’ as shown in the below image.
Select the desired policy group as shown in the below image.
From the left menu, click on ‘Security'.
Make sure that the ‘Disable App Installation’ is ON.
In order to update the changes made to the policy, click on ‘Save and Continue’.
Once SAVE AND CONTINUE is clicked, confirm the changes by clicking on ‘SAVE’.
Notice the policy version incrementing by 1.
Once the device gets the latest policy, policy reflects on the device and since then users should not be able to install apps by themselves.
